LONDON -- A British auction house says it is selling a set of surgical equipment said to belong to a Nazi war criminal who oversaw a concentration camp. Villa Hall Auctions says the box bore the name of Anton Burger, a commanders of the Terezin camp in then-Czechoslovakia. It says the box contained blades, saws and straps apparently used for a tourniquet. The auctioneers said Tuesday that the artifact is being sold by the widow of a Jewish man whose parents survived the camp. The item is expected to sell for up to 4,000 pounds (US$6,330) when it goes under the hammer Saturday. Burger was in charge of the former Jewish ghetto in Terezin, north of Prague.
